- June 21 - The Escambia County Commission delays a vote on a new definition of what constitutes a hotel. Commissioner Gene Valentino also announced Ed Guernsey as his new appointee to the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
- June 21 - Florida Governor Charlie Crist signs property tax legislation into law. A constitutional amendment scheduled for the January 29, 2008 ballot will determine the extent of reform.
