• January 19 – Kent Hovind is sentenced to ten years in federal prison for crimes relating to his evasion of fedeal taxes
• March 26 – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announce that Escambia County has agreed to release them from the final year of their lease in the Pensacola Civic Center, and and that they would not return for the 2007-08 season

Openings

• March 20 – The Century Branch Library opens
• April 17 – Krispy Kreme reopens in a new, modernised building at 9th Avenue and Cervantes Street. The previous building had been razed in November 2006.
• April 23 – The Westside Branch Library is scheduled to open

• February 27 – Jerry's Cajun Café & Market is heavily damaged in a fire
• May 25 – City Art Market closes
