After attending public schools in Pensacola, Nobles attended Emory University in Georgia, graduating with a medical degree in 1907.
On November 18, 1915, Nobles wed Claudia Crockett of Sylvester, Georgia.
W. D. Nobles was the grandfather of former Pensacola City Councilman Jack Nobles.
CareerEdit
Nobles, a surgeon, served as the longtime City Physician of the City of Pensacola. He also served on the Florida State Board of Health and the State Medical Examining Board.
