  • 1822Antebellum period: The first official session of Florida's Territorial Legislature Council is convened in Pensacola.
  • 1864Battle of Fort Hodgson
  • 1966 - The Allman Joys, later known as The Allman Brothers Band, performed at the Spanish Village on Pensacola Beach.
  • 1987 - British post-new wave band The Psychedelic Furs performed at the Saenger Theater.
  • 2004Vandals cause about $25,000 in damages at St. Michael's Cemetery by pushing over and breaking about 20 historic headstones.
