600 South is a wine and martini bar located inside the New World Landing complex. It was opened in June 2007 by Matt Balka and Jim Homyak, who had recently purchased the building. The general manager, chef and sommelier is Kemo Massey, whose tapas-style dishes are inspired by Southwest and Asian cuisine.

"We wanted to bring a certain panache that you'd usually get in a big city," Massey said. "So far we've exceeded our expectations."[1]
