West end: Glenwood Avenue
East end: Whaley Avenue
Namesake: Augustus Emmet Maxwell

Maxwell Street is an east-west street in Pensacola, running through the Ebonwood, Brownsville, Westpointe Heritage, North Hill, Eastside, East Hill, and East Pensacola Heights neighborhoods. Before streets north of Wright and east of 8th Avenue were named, that part of Maxwell Street was known as 19th Street.

Maxwell Street is named for Augustus Emmet Maxwell.

Maxwell Street's western terminus is at Glenwood Avenue, and its eastern terminus is at Whaley Avenue near Bayou Texar. This length, however, is not contiguous, with a number of gaps.
