Sacred Heart Health System

Sacred Heart Health System is a Pensacola-based health care network dating back to 1915, when the Daughters of Charity founded the Pensacola Hospital on 12th Avenue. It is now owned by the Ascension Health, the largest non-profit health network in the United States.

The system's main campus, a 458-bed facility completed in 1965 located in Pensacola's Cordova business district at 5151 North 9th Avenue, includes the modern Sacred Heart Hospital, Sacred Heart Children's Hospital and Sacred Heart Women's Hospital. The Regional Heart and Vascular Institute was a major expansion project completed in 2000.

The current President/CEO of Sacred Heart Health System is Laura Kaiser.
