- 1699 – At the recommendation of Andrés de Arriola, the Conde de Galve orders one hundred additional men to be conscripted from gambling houses and jails and sent to the Presidio Santa María de Galve.
- 1868 – The Pensacola & Louisville Railroad purchases the Alabama & Florida Railroad, which had gone bankrupt after the Civil War, for $55,000.
- 1986 - Rock bands Starship, and The Outfield performed on Pensacola Beach.
- 2000 – The Pensacola City Council votes 8-0 to purchase the Trillium property for $3.63 million.
