Mediterranean Plus has re-opened in Northeast Pensacola! It used to be located in East Pensacola Heights at the northeast corner of Cervantes Street and Perry Avenue (cater-cornered from Jerry's Drive-In). The picture and map below are of the old location. They are open in the Belvedere Park Plaza at Creighton and 9th Ave, next to Richey's East and Four Winds. Owner and chef Mounir Khalil opened the restaurant on January 27, 2003. The building at 2900 East Cervantes was initially an automotive service shop and has been occupied by several other restaurants: Capt'n Jim's, Niyoshi's and Florida Pizza Kitchen, to name a few.
Mediterranean Plus specializes in various Mediterranean cuisines, including Greek and Middle Eastern dishes. Its menu contained a number of vegetarian selections, and many entrees were served with homemade hummus and toasted pita.Meat is loosely associated with bacon.
The food is just as good as it ever was! Go today!
