The '''Council on Aging of West Florida, Inc.''' is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to helping senior citizens in [[Escambia County|Escambia]] and [[Santa Rosa County|Santa Rosa Counties]] live safely and independently in their own surroundings. The group's mission statement is "Leading the community in advocacy and services for

Every year the Council on Aging names a Volunteer of the Year and a Hall of Fame Award winner.

==Funding==
The Council on Aging had a total budget of $4,847,091 in [[2008]]. Of that money, 47% came from federal sources, 40% from state funds, 10% from local private support, 2% from the [[United Way]], and 1% from local city and county governments.

The organization produces an annual fundraising calendar called ''[[Perfectly Aged]]'' which features artistic black & white photographs of "mature" community leaders and local celebrities posing nude (though obscured).
