The '''Pensacola Heritage Foundation, Inc.''' is a non-profit organization dedicated to discovering, preserving and developing an appreciation for Pensacola's rich heritage.
One of the earliest preservation movements in Pensacola, it was founded in [[1964]] by [[Mary Turner Rule]], who bought and restored the then-dilapidated [[Dorr House]] in the [[Seville]] neighborhood. The Foundation campaigned for the establishment of the [[Gulf Islands National Seashore]] and was instrumental in creating the [[Historic Pensacola Preservation Board]] and the [[North Hill Historic District]]. It has helped restore a number of buildings in the [[Seville Square Historic District]], including the [[Barkley House]], which served as the organization's headquarters from [[1989]] to [[2004]] and was the location of the Foundation's annual Fourth of July and Russian New Year's parties.
Since [[1987]], the Foundation has hosted the [[Evenings in Olde Seville]] summer concert series in [[Seville Square]]. They were founded by longtime Foundation member [[Jim Tanck]] as a revival of a similar project that ran from 1966 to 1972.
