===Current Location===Rear Adm. Jones presently resides in historic Quarters A aboard NAS Pensacola Florida where he lives with his wife, children, and their mini-schnauzer. He is the Commanding Officer of Naval Education and Training Command and is also the Navy's senior helicopter pilot.

Rear Admiral Jones graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1975, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and is an Armed Forces Staff College graduate.
