Nightmare Theatre

Nightmare Theatre is a group that holds a series of cult film festivals throughout the year, typically screened at the Silver Screen Theatre. They have also hosted the Nightmare Theatre television show since October 2001. Nightmare Theatre, the TV show, originally aired on Cox Channel 39, the last Friday of every month at 11pm. On Halloween weekend 2006, Nightmare Theatre hosted two films "Santa's Slay" and "Blood Angels" nationally on SpikeTV as part of their "Ghouls Gone Wild" promotion. In January 2009, the show moved to WUWF-TV (Channel 4) and now airs at 10pm on the last Saturday of each month. Episodes can also be viewed on-demand online at Their annual Shocktoberfest festival takes place throughout the month of October and culminates on Halloween night. Nightmare Theatre also hosts The Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience, featuring live music and a full cast performance, the first Friday of each month at 10pm at the Vinyl Music Hall.

The group is made up of Mike Ensley, Chip Chism and Lemmie Crews, who perform in costume as the characters "The Baron Mondo von Doren," "El Sapo de Tempesto" and "Mittens the Werewolf," respectively.
