The L.A. Kirksey School was an elementary school located at 901 West Jackson Street, named for Leander A. Kirksey. Prior to being given a name (Escambia County's segregated black schools were originally given only numbers), the school was referred to as Public School No. 100.[1]

The school building was demolished in (date needed).
