The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is a City of Pensacola agency tasked with guiding the redevelopment of downtown Pensacola and downtown-area neighborhoods. The CRA district encompasses all of the City south of Cervantes Street and between A Street to the west and 17th Avenue to the east.

The director of the CRA is David A. C. Bailey, who tendered a notice of his resignation on June 17, 2007, but will remain in the position until August 3. At this time it is not clear who will be named the new director of the Community Redevelopment Agency, or if the agency will simply be assimilated into the Community Development Department of the City of Pensacola.[citation needed]
