Ballinger Publishing

Ballinger Publishing is a Pensacola-based publishing company that publishes Pensacola Magazine, Northwest Florida Business Climate, Downtown Crowd and Coming of Age. It is owned by British natives Malcolm and Glenys Ballinger, who moved to Pensacola in April 2002 with Kmart's Southeast division and chose to remain when the company consolidated divisions as part of its bankruptcy reorganization. The couple bought the publishing portion of Tim and Liz Burchell's business for an undisclosed amount on November 8, 2002, retaining six employees.[1]
