- June 25 – The Ladies Center abortion clinic is bombed by Matt Goldsby and Jimmy Simmons
- December 25 – The Ladies Center abortion clinic is again bombed (in its new location), in addition to the offices of tow doctors who practised abortion. Matt Goldsby and Jimmy Simmons were convicted of the bombing at a trial the following year.
