W.D.(Woody) Skinner taught Florida History at Pensacola High School in the 1960's and 1970's. He was an inspiring teacher, author of Florida history and avid fisherman. I think Skinner was a published author of Florida history but I am not sure. I took his class in 1967 and fished at Lake Mary Florida at his advice, a most successful trip. Mr. Skinner was a contempary of Jesse Earl Bowden, Pensacola newpaperman and historian.
