Don Copeland

Don Copeland Don Copeland is originally from Pensacola, FL. He grew up there. Although he did not come from a military family background, the influence of the strong military presence in Pensacola gave Don a strong sence of patriotism. After graduating from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, FL, Don joined the United States Air Force. Don learned about computers and networks. Don commanded satellites in space while stationed at his first assignment, Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. After that, Don went to Osan Air Base in South Korea, where he was a project manager. He also traveled the Pacific (Guam, Japan, Hawaii, Korea) as a software instructor. After relocating back to the United States, Don seperated from the Air Force.

Don worked several years in the IT industry. He was a Senior Client Support Analyst for Sprint. He covered 1/3 of the state of Florida by himself. After that, Don and his wife Kasie Copeland, decided to move to Pensacola to be near his daughter, Rebecca.

Don, and his wife Kasie, decided to open a mortgage company in 2006. With their strong patriotic beliefs, and wanting to represent the military, they named their company Blue Angel Mortgage, inc in honor of the Elite Fighter Jets, the Blue Angels. Pensacola is the home of the Blue Angels.

Don has been involved in many areas of leadership in Pensacola. He was the first President of the Pensacola Chamber Leads group. He also created and runs the Pensacola Christian Business Professionals. Don speaks at different events and is considered a leader in the community.

Don spends time with his wife and children, Cody and Rebecca when not running Blue Angel Mortgage or volunteering as 11th grade youth leaders with the Revolution program at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.
