I have changed the caption to the lead picture here as the photograph is not of "patrons" of the Opera House, but is rather of the Opera House when a meeting of strikers and sympathisers was held there Sunday, April 12, 1908, during the streetcar operators' strike. dscosson ··· talk 23:06, 1 April 2008 (CDT)

Progress Club?

Interesting... noticed via the Sanborn Maps that by 1907, the Opera House was apparently known as the "Progress Club." — admin • talk  17:18, 6 December 2009 (CST)
