Pensapedia Foundation, Inc. is the non-profit organization that operates the Pensapedia website. It was established on October 1, 2007 with the purpose "to create a collaborative encyclopedia of the Pensacola area and its history, to make the collected information freely and widely accessible, and to support other avenues of local historical research and preservation."[1]
