Mediterranean Plus was a restaurant located in East Pensacola Heights at the northeast corner of Cervantes Street and Perry Avenue (cater-cornered from Jerry's Drive-In). Owner and chef Mounir Khalil opened the restaurant on January 27, 2003. The building at 2900 East Cervantes was initially an automotive service shop and has been occupied by several other restaurants: Capt'n Jim's, Niyoshi's and Florida Pizza Kitchen, to name a few.

Mediterranean Plus specialized in various Mediterranean cuisines, including Greek and Middle Eastern dishes. Its menu contained a number of vegetarian selections, and many entrees were served with homemade hummus and toasted pita.

The restaurant closed in September 2008 after a decision by the restaurant's landlord to sell the building. Khalil stated he would take some time off but expressed his desire to eventually reopen the restaurant in a different location.
