The Coffee Cup is a local landmark and has been a breakfast staple for Pensacolians since its opening in 1945. The restaurant is particularly renowned for its grits, especially its "Nassau" variety, which is a dish of grits, bacon, ham, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and seasonings.
