Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre, a movie theater featuring "new sound equipment and new seats," opened in 1938 by Clinton Vucovich.[1]

The Strand was expanded and remodeled in 1942, and Vucovich transferred Leonard McLeod from another theater in Foley to serve as its manager.[2]
