Yates Avenue is a north-south street in the Lake View Addition, generally considered part of the East Hill neighborhood.
Yates Avenue's northern terminus is north of East Cross Street; from there, it runs south to its southern terminus at East Mallory Street, but is interrupted between East Scott Street and East Lakeview Avenue.
