Changes

:Yeah, it's the old [[Blount Junior High School]] built in [[1937]] (expanded from the earlier [[Lockley Elementary School]] built in [[1915]]). Closed around '82, it was purchased from the school district by [[Frank McGinley]] for about $5000 "as-is." McGinley was going to turn it into retirement apartments and spent about $250k removing asbestos and fixing it up, and even lived in it for a while, but ran out of money. ::It's really beautiful. I discovered it haphazardly while canvassing during the election but didn't have time to linger. I went back by yesterday. I really, really hope someone manages to salvage it, but it looks like it's in pretty bad shape. I'm going to work up an article, do you have a way to forward me that PNJ article? Also, it's named after A.C., not W.A.
