Theo was born [[January 31]], [[1921]] to [[Mary Firestone Baars|Mary Firestone]] and [[Theo Dunwody Baars]] at [[CordovaTowers]], the Baars family home built by his grandfather, [[Henry Baars]]. Theo graduated from [[Pensacola High School]] and attended Kenyon College in Ohio, Auburn University in Alabama, Tulane University in Louisiana, and William Jewell College in Missouri.
