Hecker]] of the [[Alger-Sullivan Lumber Company]]. Hecker hired architect [[Wikipedia:Louis Kamper|Louis Kamper]] to design the home for his son, [[Frank C. Hecker]], who was sent to the mill town to mind the family's business interests.
