Notability[edit]

What do you think? I would normally revert for lack of notability, but a search of the PNJ archives does yield several mentions of her performances with Ballet Pensacola. Don't want to be "ageist" or nothin'... --Admin 09:10, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

I thought about it... I don't really care, I guess. I feel like our notability standards should be a little bit above that, but I'm having a little trouble putting into words exactly what I mean. dscosson ··· talk 12:08, 20 June 2008 (CDT)
Yeah, I agree. I wonder if I didn't set a bad precedent with the George Touart (19th century) article -- i.e. someone who is notable largely because they share a name with someone more notable. In any event, I don't like that most of the article is now about her. Maybe when we've bulked up the content on Mayor Liggett, we can then mention how his granddaughter(?) shares his name. I'm going to remove it for now. --Admin 12:47, 20 June 2008 (CDT)
