So... should we just go around and delete those articles which do not meet our new standard?

At this point, I would state notability as far as living persons to media personalities, elected officials or upper-level non-elected government figures, prominent community leaders/activists, upper management in notable companies/organisations, business owners, those prominent in their fields (chefs, attorneys, etc.) and newsworthy individuals (including criminals, people like [[Chris Hall]], etc).
