Do you remember your source for the 1912 date? I ask because the Escambia County Property Appraiser parcel detail shows "Year built: 1900". But the ECSPA site is inaccurate in other cases, like w/ the Blount Building. Maybe they are dating from prior structures or something. — dscosson • talk 16:54, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

:Got the date from here, I think. Never trust those EscPA dates for older buildings; it's like they just rounded to the nearest century when they were creating the records. — admin • talk 17:32, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Hannah's Pharmacy[edit]

Are you sure that was in the Bass Building? I thought it was elsewhere. Have a picture of it somewhere. dscosson ··· talk 14:57, 13 January 2008 (CST)

There's a photo in this Remember When... book that's definitely the Bass building. It may have moved over the years, though. --Admin 15:16, 13 January 2008 (CST)

Building date[edit]

Do you remember your source for the 1912 date? I ask because the Escambia County Property Appraiser parcel detail shows "Year built: 1900". But the ECSPA site is inaccurate in other cases, like w/ the Blount Building. Maybe they are dating from prior structures or something. — dscossontalk 16:54, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Got the date from here, I think. Never trust those EscPA dates for older buildings; it's like they just rounded to the nearest century when they were creating the records. — admin • talk 17:32, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
