Susan Pote is musical director and, with her husband Allen, co-founder of the Pensacola Children's Chorus.

A graduate in Voice and Music Education of Texas Christian University, Susan Pote taught elementary school music in Texas before moving to Pensacola. In 1990, at the request of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, she directed a group of children to accompany one of the Symphony's performances. The group was well-received and eventually became known as the Pensacola Children's Chorus, which she has since directed with her husband, Allen Pote.
