Editing Street name changes, 1906

In [[1906]], the [[Pensacola City Council]] changed the name of numerous City streets. The was effected via an ordinance entitled:
:''An Ordinance to Change the Names of Certain Streets and Public Ways in the City of Pensacola.''

The ordinance was approved on [[May 10]], [[1906]]. As a result of the ordinance, the names of many streets were changed to their present-day names. Additionally, the change addressed a situation in which multiple streets shared the same names.
