The '''Spaceship House''' is the name commonly given to the structure at '''1304 Panferio Drive''' in [[Pensacola Beach]]. The house, which resembles popular depictions of alien [[Wikipedia:UFO|UFO]]s, is actually a "[[Wikipedia:Futuro|Futuro]]" prefabricated house. Designed in the 1960s by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, about a hundred were constructed.

The Pensacola Beach Futuro was built in [[1966]]<ref>[http://www.escpa.org/details.asp?qAcctNum=171252500&qSection=&qTownship=&qRange=&qSubdivision=&qBlock=&qLot= Escambia County Property Appraiser]</ref> and sits atop a lower structure made of concrete block. A fifty-foot walkway leads up to the Futuro and a surrounding patio.
