==Harper as Interim Principal==
Harper became interim principal in [[19971996]], filling in for [[Horace Jones|Principal Horace Jones]], who had transferred was removed from his position for attempting to District Officecover up a sex scandal at PHS. He was soon replaced by a permanent principal, [[Larry Huntley]].
