The Ramones were probably entertainment's most recognized punk rock band. They were guests at the Holiday Inn Bayside in Gulf Breeze from November 4-6, 1984. Their lineup consisted of Joey Ramone (Jeffry Hyman), Johnny Ramone (John Cummings), Dee Dee Ramone (Douglas Colvin), and Richie Ramone (Richard Reinhardt). They performed live at Destin's Nightown on November 5, and opened their show with their single "Psychotherapy" from their album "Subterranean Jungle". Tickets sold for five dollars each. On November 6, 1984 they performed in New Orleans, Louisiana.
