Pensacola City Commission

From 1913 until a new charter was adopted in 1931, the City of Pensacola was operated under a city commission form of government. The city commission was made up of three members, each of whom had a particular purview (police and fire, finance and revenue, or streets and public works), and one of whom was appointed mayor.
