'''Pensacola Blue''' is the title of a song written by local balladeer Geoffrey Hall, who performs has performed several original tunes that romance NW the fairly easygoing lifestyles that northwest Floridais known for. It was first performed in public by Hall at the Carousel Lounge in August 1990. A recording was played over the airwaves daily for two weeks in August 1995, on WTKX-FM. The subject of the song is the lament of lost love, yet vaguely references mentions the Blue Angels, and the laid-back gulf coast lifestyle, and the romance of tourism.
