Dr. '''Paul C. Wu''' is a member of the [[Pensacola City Council]]. He was elected to represent District 1 in November [[2004]]. He currently serves as member of the Enterprise Operations Committee, Neighborhood Services Committee, the [[Community Redevelopment Agency]] and the Committee of the Whole.
P. C. Wu is a Professor Emeritus at the [[University of West Florida]]. He is In [[1998]], Wu helped create the recipient of numerous Ft. Walton Beach Pensacola Center Outstanding Professor Awards and the recipient for Creative Community Solutions, a diverse group of the Distinguished Faculty Service Award. He served residents who functioned as a consultant and/or presented speeches in over twenty-five states and throughout Canada. He is past President "think tank" to seek nonviolent ways of the Florida Association of Teacher Educators, the Florida Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Florida Association of Staff Development. Pdealing with community problems. C. serves on the Board of Directors of the In [[North West Florida Blood Bank2002]] and the [[Baptist Health Care Foundation]]. He serves as the secretary , Florida Governor Jeb Bush appointed Wu to a four-year term of the [[North West Florida Council Commission on Aging]]Human Relations. He also serves on the Florida-Alabama TPO Wu is a longtime Rotarian, active with the [[West Florida Regional Planning CouncilPensacola Five Flags Rotary]], and he is the Legislative Vice-chair of the [[North West Florida League of Cities]]. He is was elected a Florida Supreme Court Certified Court Mediator and Assistant Trainer. P.C. is past President and Member of the Paul Harris Fellow in [[Pensacola Five Flags Rotary1998]]. P. C. Wu is very active in the Pensacola community and volunteers service, volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes, and the Salvation Army.
P. C. has a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D from FSU. He and his wife Judi have two children, Christopher and Ashley and are active members of [[St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church]].

==Political career==
During his candidacy for Council in 2004, Wu was endorsed by four former mayors of Pensacola: [[Eugene Elebash]], [[Warren Briggs]], [[Vince Whibbs]], and [[Jerry Maygarden]]. Wu defeated three others for the seat, obtaining 51.51% of the vote, thus avoiding the need for a run-off.
Wu has pre-filed for re-election.
