The Seaman's Church in the 1920s

The Norwegian Seaman's Church was built in 1876 at the southeast corner of Palafox and Pine Streets and served many of the mariners who arrived and worked at the nearby wharves. It was destroyed in an 1886 fire and was subsequently rebuilt. It was finally razed in 1934.
