The National Flight Academy (NFA) is a $26.5 million project under construction next to the National Naval Aviation Museum on NAS Pensacola. When completed, the NFA will be the home of a weeklong educational camp for seventh- to 12th-grade students (similar to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama). The academy will teach science, math and technology, with a focus on Naval aviation.

Groundbreaking for the project took place on June 16, 2009.
