Nancy Haller is the eldest daughter of Pensacola businessman Norman Willenzik, who co-owned the Pensacola Restaurant Supply Company, or "Penko", located in the Lewis Bear and Willko Buildings on Palafox Place at Main. The company also included Nancy's uncle, Oscar, mother, Carla, and aunt, Ethel.

Haller has been teaching dance for nine years. She received her early training at the Elvie DeMarko School in Pensacola. She trained further at the University of Oklahoma as a dance major, and trained later in New York, Atlanta, and Memphis. Haller is active in community theatre as an actor and a choreographer. Currently, she teaches tap, jazz, and children's division classes at Ballet Pensacola, Inc.[1]

She is a member of B'nai Israel Synagogue, where her sister, Marcy, is treasurer.
