'''Marty Martin Jude Donovan''' is a former member of the [[Pensacola City Council]], representing for District 4. He was elected in May served from [[2001]]-[[2009]].
Donovan, broker and owner of [[Donovan Realty]], is a graduate of [[Sacred Heart School]], [[Pensacola Catholic High School]] and Auburn University. A Pensacola resident since 1956, he is Co-Chairman of the [[Bayou Texar Foundation]] and a director of the [[Escambia Bay Marine Institute]], a school program for troubled teens. Involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Marty was the 1996 Big Brother of the Year.
Donovan was the sole dissenting Council member to vote against the [[Community Maritime Park]] project and became active in the group [[Save Our City]], which attempted to overturn the Council's decision by referendum.
Married 30 years to Helene, they have a son, Ryan, and He was defeated by [[Larry B. Johnson]] in a daughter and son-in-law[[Pensacola city elections, Anna and Rick Johnson2008|2008 runoff election]].
