Long Hollow is a neighborhood in the City of Pensacola between the North Hill and Eastside neighborhoods, bounded roughly by Palafox Street to the west, Wright Street to the south, Avery Street to the north, and the CSX railroad/Tarragona Street to the east. Its name is derived from old city maps, which described this low-lying strip between the hills as "the Long Hollow." In the early 1900s, it was home to the city stables and utility buildings.
