'''Lisa Linda Black''' was a legal assistant, home healthcare provider, event promoter, bartender, one of Pensacola's first female disc jockeys, also co-creator and co-administrator of the original Pensacola Musicians Memorial concerts and online pages.

She was born on December 28, 1962 in Yokohama, Japan, and grew up in northwest Pensacola, where she attended Pine Forest High School. 

Lisa had been employed at Franco's Lounge, the Rex Theatre, 2001 Club, and the office of Tommy McPherson, Esq, Attorney at Law. 

In 2010, she co-founded the Pensacola Musicians Memorial, as a non-profit organization, to assist widows and surviving children of musicians who had passed. 

Under her administration, the annual events were held intown at Seville Quarter, Vinyl Music Hall, and Chan's Saloon. Additional events were held at Paradise Bar and Grill, Flounder's Chowder House, and The Dock, all located on Pensacola Beach.

For many years, Lisa was well-known in Pensacola's community of entertainment and event service providers. Many club and restaurant owners, musicians and music store owners, also event service and stage employees considered her a longtime good, and valued, friend. 

Much of her personal time was spent in raising her two sons, also serving as an advocate for homeless citizens and lost or abandoned pets. 

Lisa Linda Black, who was filled with creative ideas, encouraging words, and support for others to follow their dreams, passed, at 59 years of age, on March 25, 2022. 

One of her last public communications was on her Facebook page, just one day before her passing, and in reply to a friend's greeting that was dedicated to her. In three simple words, she posted "I love it!"

On April 23, 2022 a memorial to Lisa was painted on Graffiti Bridge, at the 17th Avenue trestle.
