Dr. Laura [[Sjoberg]] is an author (with Caron Gentry) of Mothers, Monsters, Whores: Women's Violence in Global Politics (Zed Books 2007). Laura is also the author of Gender, Justice, and the Wars in Iraq, published by Rowman and Littlefield. The book was written when she was a post-doctoral fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, with the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the Women and Public Policy Program. Dr. [[Sjoberg's]] work contributes to Feminist International relations theory and its studies of international security and war. She has made presentations at the International Studies Association, the American Political Science Association, the National Women's Studies Association, Women in International Security, and the Boston Consortium for Gender, Security and Human Rights.
