The '''Krewe du Ya Yas''' is an all-female [[Wikipedia:Krewe|krewe]] that participates in the [[Mardi Gras]] and [[Fiesta of Five Flags]] parades and other events. It was founded on [[October 21]], [[2002]] by a group of nine friends: [[Paige Beall]], [[Rachael Whibbs]], [[Lori Perkins]], [[Ginny Stevens]], [[Kathy Crawford]], [[Huntley Jimenez]], [[Valicia Ray]], [[Wendi Sampson]], and [[Ann Williams]].
The krewe now has around 125 members, who often sport pink wigs and tiaras, and is dedicated to supporting [[Wikipedia:Breast cancer|breast cancer]] research and awareness.
