John W. Leadley was the manager of the Pensacola Electric Company from the time of its purchase by Boston conglomerate Stone & Webster until August 1908, at which time he was succeeded by Alba H. Warren. Leadley continued his employment with Stone & Webster, managing several of its other properties.

Leadley was manager at the time of the 1908 streetcar operators' strike.
