'''Yueh Chun "John" Ma''' ([[1974]]-[[2008]]) was a chef and entrepreneur who helped launch the [[Horizen]] restaurant and later started his own establishment, [[Baba Café]], shortly before he committed suicide.
Ma was born on [[November 29]], [[1974]]<ref>http://205.152.130.14/cv_web_1b.asp?ucase_id=50209488</ref> in Taiwan. He came to America in {{date needed}} and attended Florida State University, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
In [[2002]] Ma partnered with [[Hunan]] owners [[William Yang|William]] and [[Linda Yang]] to open the Asian-fusion restaurant [[Horizen]].
