'''John B. Jerralds''' is a member of the [[Pensacola City Council]] and [[Deputy Mayor of Pensacola]]. He was appointed in [[2000]], was elected to the [[City of Pensacola District 5|District 5]] seat , and reelected in [[2001]] and . He served as the Deputy Mayor in from [[2007]]-[[2009]]. Mr. Jerralds is a teacher at [[George Stone Technical Center]]. Mr. Jerralds is active in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and serves as the Education Committee Chairman for the [[Movement for Change]]. He is a member of [[Macedonia Baptist Church]]. He received a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York and a master’s degree from the [[University of West Florida]]. He and his wife Viola have two sons.
